The Secrets Agency is a free and anonymous service where members are invited to either anonymously deposit secrets that they no longer wish to keep or apply to look after other people's secrets.

Each deposited secret is distributed to a suitable keeper, hand-matched according to selected criteria. There is a strict selection process as not everyone is suited to care for such sensitive information – only the trustworthy need apply. The secret is then sent to its new guardian – the terms state that it must be kept, however it is personal choice whether or not to break the seal and read the secret.

If you would like to join the Secrets Agency simply go to the 'Become a Member' section and fill in the form. Your application will then be processed and you will be sent a Membership Card and Welcome Pack in the post. The pack will contain all the forms mentioned below.

Members are invited to share one or more secrets with the Agency by completing Form Number 1.1 specifying your requirements of a keeper.

1. Write your secret on the bottom of the completed form which will be kept securely by the Agent until a suitable ‘Keeper’ is found.

2. The secret will then be detached from your file, sealed in an envelope securely using a wax seal.

3. Your secret will then be sent anonymously to its new Keeper and you will receive confirmation that your secret has been dispatched and the secret is no longer yours to keep.

Once a member, you may deposit additional secrets at any time by requesting additional forms (1.1) from the Agency. 

-Can you keep a secret?

As a Member you are also entitled to become a Keeper by filling in Form Number 2.1, describing yourself and the reasons why you are good at keeping secrets. 

1. The Agent will hand-match each deposited secret with a suitable Keeper by searching the Database.

2. Once a perfect match is found, an original hand-written secret will be sent to you, the keeper, in a wax sealed envelope.

3. The Keeper must promise to keep the secret safe for as long as time permits and not share the secret with anyone else as it has been entrusted with them only. The Keeper must decide whether or not to open the sealed envelope.

Members are permitted to keep as many secrets as they feel they are able to and will state the number that they would like to receive on the application form.
